• Dispose of your rubbish in the correct recycling bin and not in the environment.
• Try to avoid packaging waste and recycle paper, metals and plastics.
• Buy products in glass bottles instead of plastic bottles or beverage cans. Fill your drinks into reusable drinking bottles for on the go.
• Don't pack your groceries in plastic bags, instead pack them in a backpack, shopping basket or reusable tote bag made of cotton, jute or recycled plastic.

To protect your health and the environment, it is best not to buy cosmetics that contain the following substances:

• Nanomaterials such as silver, titanium oxide or zinc oxide. Nanomaterials are characterised by higher chemical reactivity, greater biological activity and stronger catalytic behaviour compared to larger particles of the same chemical composition.
• Microplastics such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) or other plastics. The microscopically small plastic particles enter the environment unhindered via our wastewater and cause great damage there.
• Hormonally active substances such as parabens or benzophenones. According to a BUND study, about a third of all cosmetic products are contaminated with hormonally active chemicals. These substances act like the body's own hormones and are associated with a wide variety of health problems.
